Last week saw the the 6th edition of the North Face Ultra Trail, the running race that follows the Tour du Mont Blanc. The total distance is 166km, with a height gain of 9,400m in total. This years winner was Kilian Jornet in a staggering 20 hours 56 minutes and 59 seconds. Even the Chamonix mayor Eric Fournier completed the demi Ultra Trail from Courmayeur to Chamonix. This event is growing in stature each year, with more and more runners competing.
