Autumn Alpine Treks

This year the Autumn weather has been kind to us, and while it has been fairly snowy at altitude, it has been great for trekking. A lot of people have been in contact for bespoke guided walks, and recent treks have visited Monts Truc and Joly, the Mont de l’Arpille (see photo, with Sarah approaching the summit, with the Rhone valley and Martigny in the background) and the Demi Tour Mont Blanc from Contamines around to Courmayeur. We are continuing to offer treks all through October, so if you want to make any last minute plans just get in touch. Private trekking guiding costs from just £120 per day, and this can be for up to eight people. In previous years the snows have started to creep lower during November, and this has often signalled the start of the snowshoeing season.
