This weekend we ran one of our Italian Snowshoeing Weekends, and 12 clients headed up to the luxurious Bonatti Refuge above the Val Ferret, lead by Icicle UIMLA guides Mark and Kingsley. On the Saturday the weather was kind, as you can see from this photo of Heidi and Mark celebrating their arrival at the hut. The next day there was poor visibility and some fresh snow, but everyone managed to ascend to the Pas Entre Deux Sauts, which was a great achievement. For some people this weekend was their first outing on snowshoes, and so to reach the col at over 2500m was impressive!
