Here’s a photo of our Winter Alpine Intro course in Italy on Tuesday, as they ascended to the Col de Malatra and here at the Pas Entre Deux Sauts. The night was spent in the Bonatti Hut above the Italian Val Ferret. Yesterday the group went to the Mer de Glace for glacier training, then today it was off up the Aiguille du Midi for an ascent of the Cosmiques Arête. The conditions up high are great, while in the valley it seems like Spring has come, with midday temperatures reaching 14°C! This week we also have groups on the Haute Route ski tour from Chamonix to Zermatt, and also a ski touring training week.
