Good weather has returned to the Alps, and the high winds of the end of last week have really calmed down. This photo is of the Acclimatisation Weekend group above the Col du Salenton, having crossed from the Moede Anterne refuge at the base of the Rochers du Fiz. They all successfully ascended Mont Buet, and descended via the normal route to the Vallorcine valley. This week in Chamonix we have four Mont Blanc groups, a Matterhorn course, and a Technical Classics course running. It looks like the weather has been kind to them, so fingers crossed.
