The good weather is continuing in the Alps, and we are officially enjoying the best summer weather for over a decade. The end of last week saw all the groups succesfully reach the summit of Mont Blanc, as well as the Matterhorn and Breithorn traverse. Well done to all for their efforts. The good weather has raised valley temperatures to a maximum of +35°C, so if you are on a trip in the next few weeks, make sure you pack light coloured base layers and climbing trousers. This weekend saw more groups on the Acclimatisation Weekend, and also Mont Blanc and Matterhorn again. Here is a photo of the Icicle group on the summit of Mont Buet on Sunday.
