A great photo in from yesterday of Sarah on the summit of Mont Truc above Les Contamines, with the stunning backdrop of the Aiguille du Bionassay. This was the area that the weekend Intro Ski Tour group were in, and it’s a great choice when there is elevated avalanche risk. As well as Mont Truc they skinned up to Tête d’Armancette, and skied down through the trees. As you can see the snow conditions were perfect. These weekends are increasingly popular for those who can only get away for a couple of days, and it avoids the need for taking any time off work!
