Last night our most recent Haute Route ski tour group got back into Chamonix, having successfully skied to Zermatt. The sunburnt faces and tired legs paid testament to the perfect weather they had during the week, with hot sunny days, but good re-freezes overnight. They even found some good powder on the ski down to the Prafleuri hut, and also on the long ski to Arolla from the Pas de Chevre. Mauro was their guide and as he hails from Italy, was plagued by requests from the group of if it was “Beerio-o’clockio” yet all week!!! Well done all for your efforts, and good luck to this weeks group too.
