Great news for all those coming out over the next weeks, in that Mont Blanc had its first summer ascents last week, and the groups all reached the summit. It took nearly 15 hours starting from the TΓͺte Rousse to summit and return to the hut, which was largely due to the amount of snow still on the peak. This week has seen plenty of warm foehn winds, and so much of this snow has now melted, so we expect next weeks groups of ours to encounter much better conditions than those out last week. Still, with these timings in mind, make sure you go out for those final training runs to get in as good shape as you can before your summit attempt. See you out in Chamonix soon!
