Last week saw our first Saas 4000m peaks course of the year, and the team managed to ascend 5 main summits in the area over 4000m, so well done all for your efforts. The majority of the climbs were in the Mischabel group and further south to Alphubel 4206m. The weather was very hot with valley temperatures reaching +36°C, so a series of very early starts was required to get the best conditions, not that it stopped them one day when they didn’t reach the hut before 7pm, in time for dinner!
