This week saw another full Winter Intro course, and despite a couple of days of foehn wind, they all had a really successful week. On the first couple of days they ascended to a hut in Italy, and ascended the Tete Entre Deux Sauts, then practiced glacier travel and ice climbing on the Mer de Glace on the Wednesday. The final two days saw the three groups splitting to climb ice at Deferlante and Mini Couloir, mixed on Brevent, Pointe Lachenal, Arete Laurence (see photo), and also Petite Aiguille Verte. If you are keen on a Winter Intro course, there is still a space on the course running 3-9 April.
