There was no losing Geoff last week. I don’t know if he was keen to be spotted by rescue teams, or the outfit was in hommage to Jimmy Saville, but whatever the reason, there was no missing him. Here he is on the summit of Mont Blanc du Tacul 4248m in the cloud, so maybe the clothing was for high visibility reasons! The weather this week has turned out a lot better, with sunny days and stormy afternoons. There has been a fair bit of wind up high at altitude, and the weather looks like it is improving after tomorrow. No need for more high vis clothing climbing this week.Geoff Alps Saville
