Gilles took this photo yesterday of his team as they edged along the summit ridge to the summit of Gran Paradiso 4061m. All the team members on the Alpine Intro course reached the top, as they took advantage of the better weather yesterday to summit a day earlier than had been planned. One of the key attractions of Gran Paradiso, is that it is situated in a National Park, so there are no cable cars or infrastructure on the mountain to detract from the wild beauty of the place. Many of the mountain huts are the old hunting lodges of King Victor Emmanuelle II of Italy. The next course with spaces is running 29 July – 4 August.Paradiso summits
