Here’s a photo from one of our last Summer Alpine Intro courses, with Frank and Blake on the summit of Gran Paradiso, guided by Stefano. The weather was perfect for them, and as you can see in the photo, the summit rocks had a dusting of fresh snow. Both the Victor Emmanuel and Chabod mountain huts are now closed for the inter-season, though they reopen in winter for ski touring. The huts closing in the Gran Paradiso national park marks the end of our summer season for Alpine Intro courses, though we have a final week of courses in Chamonix this week.Last Summer Intro
