Excuse the significant lack of blog activity recently, but that can only mean one thing – it’s been very busy both in the Alps and our UK office in the Lake District. As a quick update on the conditions in the Alps, the Vallee Blanche is still in great form, and many of the classic ice climbs such as Patrie, Lau Bij, Lillaz Gully, are all formed though still thin in a few sections. Another week or so of freeze thaw should improve all the ice routes a lot and bring them into perfect condition. As we write this blog, it’s another beautiful sunny day in the Alps. Sorry those in the UK!
