This week is our third week of back to back ice climbing courses in the Val de Cogne in northern Italy, and the guides have all reported superb conditions, as you can see from the photo above taken by Gilles. The groups are based in the comfortable Hotel La Barme, so they can relax in the sauna each day after ice climbing – what a hard life!
