A great photo from Lori, who took this while guiding on Gran Paradiso last week. The sunny days may be taking their toll on the snow, but the early evening storms are providing a little top up of fresh snow, as you can see in this picture. Many classic routes are being climbed at present including the Hornli Arête of the Matterhorn, Mittileggi on the Eiger, and Frendo Spur on the Midi. We have a real mixture of groups out in the Alps this week; Alpine Autonomy, Technical Classics, 1:1 Advanced, Mont Blanc, Eiger and Matterhorn. Good luck all.
