Winter Ice

IMG_3196

Last call for winter ice climbing! The past few weeks have been busy with groups ice climbing in the Val de Cogne in Italy, as well as in Switzerland and France. There have been some great conditions, especially in Italy and at altitude. As it’s starting to near the end of the ice season, here are the final spaces on trips where you are still guaranteed to find good cascade ice…

Winter Ice Weekend, 2 days guiding (link), 7-8 March (2 spaces)
Winter Alpine Classics, 5 days guiding (link), 8-14 March (1 space)

All our Alpine ice climbing trips are led by top IFMGA mountain guide, who specialise in waterfall ice climbing, and on many courses they may even let you try leading a route. The valley temperatures are slowly creeping up now, so we think there is around one month left of good conditions. If you are thinking of an ice trip with us this year, then get in touch soon. Don’t leave it too late!
