Yesterday our private Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) group reached Courmayeur, and they completed the Les Contamines to Courmayeur section in two days, which was a good achievement. There was still a lot of snow reported on the high passes, especially the Col de Fours, but that did not stop them summiting the Tête Nord de Fours. This team was led by Kingsley, our head UIMLA guide. He also reported that the high temperatures had made several of the river crossings quite tricky, due to the high amount of snow melt draining off the mountains. Due to the safety implications of the current conditions, we have delayed running any self guided TMB groups until July.
