Alpine classic routes

Here’s a photo from last week of Rod topping out from the north face of Aiguille du Toule, above the Glacier de Geant. The spring snows have retreated very quickly, and conditions on classic routes are superb at present. If you are looking to travel soon, there is one final space on our Matterhorn Ascent course (http://www.icicle-mountaineering.ltd.uk/matterhorn.shtml) on 21-27 July, where you climb for three days at 1:2 guiding ratio on classic routes to acclimatise and train, before two days 1:1 on the Matterhorn itself. Get in touch if you are interested.
