Everyone on the Mont Blanc course summited this week, and a big congratulations to you all. We pulled the ascent a day forward, as the weather was looking unstable on Friday, so the group climbed to the hut on Wednesday and set off very early on Thursday to summit at 6am. This photo shows Patrick on the top, just a few minutes before the clouds blew in and the views were obscured. A perfectly judged weather forecast gave this great opportunity, and all our groups reached the summit at the same time. The conditions on the Gouter route are still good, and we have some new snow forecast above 2500m during the next week, which should keep the conditions good for the next few weeks.
