We are delighted to announce that Icicle is the first, and as yet the only, operator to offer Alpine Skyrunning courses! What is skyrunning? It’s trail running in higher altitudes, on rougher ground (even on snow), and in more remote mountain areas. Following the boom of trail running in the Alps, skyrunning is the next step, for those who want to escape the crowds that bit more. The captivating photo above, was taken last week in Chamonix, of our most recent running group.

The course was launched over the weekend, and already the first course date has sold out. We have space on the Chamonix based week of 7-13 September 2014. During the week you will run sections of routes that are raced in the Skyrunning World Championships, and will be led by a finisher of one of the iconic ultra-trails such as UTMB or Tor du Geants.
